We are proud to produce artist Adam Makarenkos’ first photography book - EXOPLANETS: A JOURNEY THROUGH MINIATURE WORLDS
Adam constructs miniature dioramas by hand and then photographs the sets. From these constructed realities, he can tell a story, otherwise impossible through conventional photography. In December 2007, Adam was awarded American Photo of The Year by American Photo Magazine for his unique photography work with miniature bees and apiaries. He also won the coveted Bright Spark Award, published in The Magenta Foundation’s 2008 Flash Forward publication for the same work. Since then, his photography has been featured in The New York Times, Scientific American, National Geographic, The British Journal of Photography, and Wired.
